Melissa Slaughter began her insurance career in 2021 and joined First West in November 2025 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She quickly discovered a passion for the insurance industry, drawn to its ever‑changing nature and the constant opportunities to learn. Outside of work, Melissa proudly embraces her role as the “cool aunt” to her two nieces and one nephew and loves spending time with them whenever she can. She also enjoys hanging out with her dogs, diving into good books and crime documentaries, and seeking out new creative projects. Melissa brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a learner’s mindset to every client she serves.
