First West, Inc. is a locally owned independent insurance agency founded in Bozeman, Montana, in 1972.
At First West, insurance is about more than policies—it’s about helping people. Many of our clients are also our neighbors and friends, and we take pride in providing personalized guidance and coverage tailored to each client’s unique needs.
We are the largest locally owned independent insurance agency in the Gallatin Valley, with access to more than 100 insurance companies. Because we are independent, we are not tied to a single carrier. Our long-standing relationships with these insurers allow us to compare options, identify the most appropriate coverage, and deliver added value to our clients.
