CARTER REYNOLDS
Commercial Account Executive
Carter Reynolds, CISR, joined First West in 2021 and stepped into his role as a Commercial Lines Producer in 2024. Drawing on experience in business, outdoor leadership, and nonprofit work, he helps business owners simplify complex insurance and risk challenges, with a particular focus on the construction and outdoor recreation industries.
Outside the office, Carter and his wife Ellie are busy raising their two young boys Camden and Warren and sharing the hobbies they love most, including archery elk hunting, skiing, and trail running. They are active in their church, committed supporters of local youth camp Yellowstone Alliance Adventures, and involved with Bozeman Hawks Cross Country & Track program, where Ellie coached for six years.
Before First West, Carter led whitewater and backpacking trips for high school and college students, worked on Capitol Hill and in financial regulatory consulting in Washington, D.C., and served as a ski instructor at Big Sky Resort after earning his B.A. from Gordon College in the Boston area.
